Subject preferences in this application are an indication only and actual subjects will depend upon availability and prior learning. The school reserves the right to determine subject placement and year level throughout enrolment in consultation with students and families. Some subject choices may need changed on arrival. ESOL is offered to all our International students.
Year 7 and 8: Students complete integrated courses in their Homeroom classes which cover Literacy, Numeracy, Social Studies and Religious Education, which is a special feature of our programmes. In addition, specialist teaching is provided in Physical Education/Health, the Arts (Art, Music, Drama, Dance), Languages (French, Japanese and Te Reo (Māori), and Technology (Digital Technology, Food and Textiles Technology).All students are given the opportunity to learn a variety of musical instruments with specialist itinerant teachers.
YEAR 9 : All students complete a compulsory component of Te Reo Māori in Term 1. Students in Year 9 then choose ONE language from French, Japanese or Te Reo Māori as well as completing a course of compulsory subjects in English,science,maths,social studies,PE and financial literacy.
Students will experience all the Creative Arts as part of their Arts rotation, with modules in Dance, Drama, Music, and Visual Arts. In addition, students take Health, Technologies (Digital, Food, Textiles), Sexuality and Financial Literacy.
Year 10: Students continue with a course of compulsory subjects in English,science,maths,social studies, Religious education and PE. A range of options are offered to girls to give them a breadth of subjects. Girls may choose:
One language and two half year options OR
Four half year options

YEAR 11 : Students entering Year 11 will follow a course that includes:
Religious Education
English, Communications Skills or ESOL
Mathematics
Physical Education/Health: Sport, Life and Leisure or Fitter, Faster, Stronger
Science
Students need to select three other options from available Year 11 subjects.
YEAR 12 : Students entering Year 12 will follow a course that includes:
Religious Education
English, Communication Skills, or ESOL
Students select four other subjects from the list of available subjects at Year 12 or Level 2
YEAR 13 : Students entering Year 13 will follow a course that includes:
Religious Education
Students select five other subjects from the list of available subjects at Level 2 or 3.
Some students may wish to do a semester course/s for interest (these do not 'count' towards University Entrance)
Some students may choose to do an Independent Study.
All Contract Documents for _SCHOOLNAME_ must be fully read and understood and the Declaration Form signed as confirmation of this. Failure to disclose relevant information or the provision of false information may result in termination of enrolment. Make sure all details on these forms are completed and the correct people have agreed to the enrolment conditions. Please read and understand the contracts before signing.

- understand that any false or incomplete information submitted in support of your application may invalidate it and may result in the withdrawal of an Offer of Place
- agree that you have received sufficient information to make an informed decision about enrolment at the School
- confirm that where the student is under 10 years of age, the student will live with a parent or legal guardian in New Zealand while enrolled at a school, unless accommodated in a school hostel
The Contract of Enrolment includes provisions that:
- allow the School to discipline the Student, including by expulsion, or to remove them from the School on health and welfare grounds;
- control and limit the Student's rights of refund when Enrolment ends early;
- require the Parents to make full disclosure of all relevant information; and
- provide consent for the School to permit certain activities without further agreement from the Parents.
